Happy 7 Months, P-Man!

P-man,

Happy 7 months baby boy! I cannot believe how fast you're growing. You are already in 9 month clothing. You weigh around 18 lbs 8 oz and about 27 inches long. You are still breastfeeding during the day with a bottle or two during the night (daddy has been wonderful helping mommy so I can get some sleep). You also started eating solids two-three times a day, with your favorite being sweet potatoes. You have been working hard on perfecting your pincher grasp with the Gerber Puffs (you love those). Mommy cannot wait to introduce you to more table foods.

You are still rolling from tummy to back, and have only rolled back to tummy twice. Being on your back allows you to explore and play with your toes. You are pushing up off your elbows and rocking back and forth, I believe it's only a matter of time before you start crawling. You love your exersaucer and jumperoo. You even jumped yourself to sleep a few times, which made for a perfect photo opportunity. You are becoming more interactive with your big brother, and it's such a joy to watch. The biggest milestone you accomplished during this past month is calling me, "mama". It just melts my heart hearing those words. You are definitely a mama's boy!

Unfortunately this month also brought on the sickies. You spiked your first fever (102), got diagnosed with RSV and your first ear infection. With the help from medicine and a whole lot of Tender Loving Care, mommy and daddy were able to nurse you back to health. Your big brother helped a lot too with a ton of hugs and kisses. I truly believe love and snuggles are the best form of medicine.

I cannot wait to see what this month has in store for us. You will be celebrating your first Halloween by dressing up as a monkey. You will have a visit from your Nona from Nebraska. Of course, you will be learning and exploring new things. It's definitely going to be fun to watch. I love you, P-man!
