New Design

Thanks to a good friend, Kim over at Pair Slices, 3 Men and a Lady has a brand new design and layout. I love the variety of bright colors, owls, banner, footer design, and new signature (stay tuned for a new button design as well). If any of you are looking for a fun and creative new design/layout, and not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars on graphic design, please look into hiring Kim. Thanks so much, Kim. You did an amazing job.

New Design Coming to a Blog Near You

A friend of mine has graciously offered to help design a new blog template and layout for me. I'm so excited. I have already picked out the design I want, and I really hope you all like it. Once I get the new design and template going on my blog, I'm hoping, with her permission to give her and her blog a shoutout! Stay tuned!

Slowly Improving

Okay, I think I'm done messing around with my blog for a while, at least until I can get a designer to come up with a custom design. Plus, I want to see if my blog brings in more traffic/reviews/giveaways giving me a reason to pay for a custom design. Anyway, let me know how you like it. I really thought the 2-column look was making my page look cluttered. Plus, I wanted to make sure all my buttons were on display towards the top of the blog so others can check out some of my favorite blogs, instead of having to scroll more towards the bottom. Anyway, I hope I'm satisfied with this template for a while, because honestly, I've been spending way too much time obsessing over this.

New coming to a blog near you!!!!!

**UNDER CONSTRUCTION**

I'm currently working on a new design, name, etc to my blog. I'm debating on paying someone to design a new template and header, so we'll see what happens with that. My friend, Melissa, came up with a fun new title and quote to go along with the new blog:

Title: 3 Men and a Lady

Quote: "I have lots of snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails but where is my sugar and spice, and everything nice?"

Stay tuned for more updates regarding my new page, including information on cloth diapers, baby wearing, baby sign language, and new updates with my family.

Cha, Cha, Changes!

I decided to switch blog designs again. One of my goals this upcoming new year is to blog a lot more. We have some family changes coming our way, and will be sharing about those very soon. As of right now, I probably won't start adding to my blog until after the new year. I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and I wish you all the very best during 2011.

God bless!

I'm currently trying to revamp my blog, so I will be spending a few days doing that. Stay tuned for a post regarding P-man's 7 month update.

I think I can...I think I can...

I think I can start blogging again. It's been forever and a day, in fact we have gone through two seasons without another blog post. So much has changed since the fall, including the biggest change of all, the birth of my second little man, P-man. Being a mommy of two has been the biggest challenge in my life thus far. It's also been the biggest learning experience. I'm still learning how to juggle my time effectively, so both boys are entertained, dressed, fed, etc on time. However, there are more days than I can count where it's taken me until Jess gets home to either get dressed, eat, brush my teeth, or use the restroom. It's slowly getting better, and I've come to learn that it's easier to get ready after P-man's first feeding of the morning while W's asleep. In fact, that's when I try and get the most done, dishes washed and put away, make the beds, straighten up, and declutter. I would like to say this is a daily occurrence, but this unfortunately only gets done a few times a week (right now William and I are in our jams, and Patrick is the only one dressed). Pick and choose your battles I guess, right?!

Jesse starts shift work on July 12th, which will also be his first month of nights. He will work 8:00p-8:00a and will continue to do nights during the months of September, November, and January. August, October, and December he will be on days. We will be in Nebraska his first month of nights, so we only really have to deal with two and a half months of nights. I really hope I can get the kiddos out of the house while Jesse sleeps. I also hope I can sleep during the night knowing Jess isn't home. The biggest hurdle of all, is trying to learn how to again juggle everything along with good time management. I would gladly accept any advice with open arms on how to learn time management while parenting two children. I guess it's time to bring out the cookbooks, since I will be planning and preparing meals a lot more often. I've been truly blessed that I have a hubby who loves to cook, so I've become lazy in the kitchen department. Oh well!

As much as I would love to continue blogging and updating you all. My little man is awake from his nap, so I must draw this blog to a close. I *think* I can continue to update this at least once every three days, which is my main goal. :)

Cleaning off the dust and clearing the cobwebs

Wow, it's been forever and a day since I've last blogged. I guess I'll blame the fact it's been hard to sit down for a few minutes and concentrate on writing what's been going on. Anyway, huge news in the S household...I'm currently 15.5 weeks pregnant (insert cheering and clapping here...HAHA). It took Jess and I exactly six months to conceive, and I honestly thought I was out that cycle due to the stress of Jess being admitted to the hospital for four days (long story). We will found out in a few weeks as to what we're having. W keeps saying there's a "baby sister in mommy's tummy", and I have a feeling it's a girl, but who knows?!?! We are 90% sure of the names, if it's a boy he will be Jackson, and if it's a girl, Ava Marie. It's not set in stone yet, especially since we still have about 5 months until gummy bear arrives.

15 Weeks:

Baby Gummy Bear at 13 weeks:

Everything has been good here. We went back to Nebraska for 4 weeks while Jess had training to attend to in Colorado Springs. It was great being back home, and it was DEFINITELY hard to leave. However, I was ready to be in my own house, bed, and W really wanted his train table. I really need to finish getting my Halloween decorations up, which I'm thinking I'll do tomorrow. I'm hoping we can stop by a Halloween store today just to look around and see if I can add anything to our decor. Oh, last night I got the opportunity to meet other Air Force wives in the community I live in, and it was a blast. My neighbor who is due with her 1st a few weeks before me included me in the girls night out. It was a lot of fun. I'm definitely looking forward to more nights like last night.

Well, this blog isn't completely dusted off yet, but I got a dent in it. We have to get the boys haircuts today, because W's hair is seriously out of control.
